The Mission

About Amerikids

The name Amerikids comes from the fact that our youth no matter how misguided many of them appear to be are really products of the American misplaced value system! Whatever they are, they are MADE in America! A kid is a baby goat. Our children are not goats, but they have been made rebellious like them. Our struggle is to make them submissive like sheep to righteous principles.

In a spiritual metaphor America is like our mother. Being born here we come into this world needing to be cleansed from the afterbirth of our mother (America). Being that our mother (America) suffers from so many spiritual diseases, she is in need of operation while she carries us in her womb because as her child we are affected by her diseases (racism, sexism, materialism and nationalism).

When a doctor wants to help save an unborn baby being developed in the womb of an ill affected mother they will have to go into the mother and bring the child out from the womb just a little in order to operate or correct the problem and then place the unborn child back until it's time to come to birth. This operation represents what my brand The Amerikids attempts to do. While still in America we are operating on the hearts and minds of our youth to "SHIFT THE PARADIGM; CULTIVATE TRUE GREATNESS" in order to reverse the negative effects that racism, sexism, materials and nationalism has had and continues to have on them and the world!

The Benefits Amerikids Can Have On The Community

Our Amerikids art can provide several profound benefits for our youth and their day-to-day environments.

Amerikids can help improve school, library, office and home climate: Foster a warm and supportive climate that emphasizes positive, proactive, and preventive practices aligned to a sense of physical and emotional well- being. Both children and adults should experience joy in being present in an environment where their identity is positively reflected.

Our artwork can equip school and social service staff with materials that align with evidence-based Social Emotional Learning (SEL) approaches! It infuses curriculum materials with underrepresented and disenfranchised groups It can also help build self-esteem and dismantle negative stereotypes. Lastly, it can help facilitate tough discussions on race; social justice and mis-education

In addition to that, it can be used as a tool to increase Literacy and Emotional Intelligence (EI). It promotes positive sense of self-worth and identity. Lastly, we aim to break the school to prison pipeline and close the achievement gap by improving student’s attitude toward education and increase students’ interest in learning.
